Ashland Rotary Run
The 2nd Annual Ashland Rotary Run took place on, Saturday, 2 October 2010. It began and ended at Lithia Park in Ashland. The event included a5 and 10 K run and walk.
The Rotary Run was dedicated to raising scholarships for the Ashland Rotary Foundation for Ashland High and SOU students.
More than 175 runners and walkers participated in the first Rotary Run for Polio in 2009. A Pancake Breakfast was free to anyone who participated after the event.
A total of $13,500 was raised to support Rotary International's worldwide polio eradication efforts. When matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the total comes to more than $35,000. Thank you all.
