Ashland Rotary Run for Polio
The First Annual Ashland Rotary Run for Polio took place on 3 October 2009. It began and ended at Lithia Park in Ashland. The event included a5 and 10 K run and walk.
More than 175 runners and walkers participated. A Pancake Breakfast was free to anyone who participated.
A total of $13,500 was raised to support Rotary International's worldwide polio eradication efforts. When matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the total comes to more than $35,000. Thank you all.
